Situated at the front of North Pier and very close to Talbot Square - the heart of Blackpool’s evening entertainment in the town centre.
At the Merrie England when you pre book your stag or hen party of 10 or more, you will receive 2 complimentary bottles of bubbly. Due to the popularity of this venue it is advised that you turn up early as admission is subject to the capacity limit (approximately 800) within the venue.
The Merrie England Bar is fantastic for you more outrageous stags and hens, who will enjoy the adult humour and innuendo in the unique style of resident entertainer, Joey Blower every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Joeys’ hilarious antics include telephone wind-ups, text the DJ, take your pick and Joey Blowers Pub Stars Karaoke Competition and the music and DJ continue as late as 2am. Referred to as "The Legendary" Tower lounge it is commonly used as a meeting place and the starting point for the evenings drinking for many of the adult only groups visiting the town.
No Blackpool Stag or Hen Bar Crawl is complete without including the truly ‘Legendary’ Tower Lounge. This 1700 capacity venue is the place where everyone and everything goes! On Friday night resident DJ Mark Massey presides over our great Karaoke, and on Saturday spins 70’s 80’s, 90’s and the latest up to date tunes – then as one closes the other opens…
